PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder into which a beverage container is easily inserted and taken out, on which the beverage container stably stands vertically upright, and which can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: This cup holder 1 for receiving and holding a cup has a container 4 having a cup receiving section 3 defined by a bottom section 41 and a side wall 42 upstanding from the bottom section. A portion which is not in contact with the bottom section of the side wall constitutes at least one flexible protrusion 46 protruding inward of the cup receiving section. A portion forming the protrusion of the side wall is formed thinner than the thickness of the other portion of the side wall. Further, a rib 50 reaching the center of the protrusion is formed from the other portion formed thicker than a part for constituting the protrusion of the side wall on an outside surface of the side wall.
