The shower has a sterile filter (8) arranged in a shower head (2) of the emergency shower, where the sterile filter exhibits pores with a diameter of approximately 0.2 micrometers. The sterile filter is arranged with a base (12). A hose has a connector, which is attached at a water pipeline. An end of the hose is connected with a housing and exhibits a handle and an actuating switch, where the housing is fixed by a holder at a wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for retrofitting of an emergency shower.
