In order to inhibit fretting in a power transmission chain, a flat part (18) of a first pin (3) of the chain extends in an oblique direction (D) when the straight area of the chain is viewed from the direction (W) of the width of the chain. An imaginary line (L1) which passes through the center of the total height (h) of the first pin (3) along the oblique direction (D) and is orthogonal to the oblique direction (D) intersects the flat part (18), thereby forming a first intersection (P0).
