WORK INSPECTOR AND CARRIER

A work inspector and carrier comprises a carrier unit (40, 50, 60) for carrying a work from a carry-in area to a carry-out area, and an inspection unit (70) for performing a predetermined inspection on the work. The inspection unit (70) is so formed as to move together with the work in order to inspect the work by the inspection unit (70) while the work is carried from the carry-in area to the carry-out area by the carrier unit. When carrying the work from the predetermined carry-in area to the carry-out area, the inspection unit (70) performs the predetermined inspection on the work while it is moved (carried) together with the work. Compared with a case wherein the work is stopped at a predetermined inspection position to perform the predetermined inspection on the work and after the inspection is finished, the work is carried (that is, inspection and transportation are conducted separately), the overall time required for inspection and transportation can be shortened.
