PURPOSE: A method for preparing guava leaf tea is provided to improve mouth feeling with excellent taste and flavor. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing guava leaf tea comprises the following steps of: washing 1kg guava leaf; chopping the leaf to a size of 2mm; uniformly spreading the chopped leaves and leaving them in the sun for 12 hours; placing them in a plastic bag and fermenting them in a hot-floor room for 12 hours; exposing the fermented leaves to the sun for 8 hours; rolling the leaves in a roller for 5 minutes; placing in the plastic bag and re-fermenting in the hot-floor room for 12 hours; roasting them in an iron pot of 300°C for 10 minutes; drying in a drier for 12 hours; and flavoring the leaves in the iron pot of 200°C for 20 minutes and 130~150°C for 80 minutes while maintaining the moisture content to 90%.
