<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston-seal structure by which leakage is prevented, and sliding resistance is reduced in an air cylinder and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The piston-seal structure includes a cylinder 1, a piston 5 inserted in the cylinder 1 to reciprocate in the axial direction of the cylinder, a seal ring 10 having rising parts 10b, 10b on both end parts. A seal groove 2 is formed along the circumferential direction in either one of the cylinder 1 and the piston 5. The width of the seal ring 10 is larger than that of the seal groove 2. In the seal ring 10, both end parts are flexed breadthwise to be packed in the seal groove 2 in order to seal the cylinder 1 and the piston 5. When the seal groove is formed in the cylinder, a ring seal comprising an elastic body is provided around the outer circumference of the seal ring to be packed together with the seal ring in the seal groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
