<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the state of supplying cooling fluid to a power interrupter or the state of discharging it via a bypass flow path without increasing pipes and wires. <P>SOLUTION: In a wet type multiple-disc brake device 40, a selector valve 94 is arranged for switching the state of supplying the cooling fluid into a storage case 44 of the brake device 40 or the state of discharging the cooling fluid via the bypass flow path 85 directly to a tank.
