<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery reducing internal resistance on the interface between a negative electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer and enhancing discharge characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium battery includes a positive electrode layer 13, a negative electrode layer 14, and a solid electrolyte layer (an SE layer 15) mediating lithium ion conduction between these layers. The negative electrode layer 14 is a thin film containing at least lithium formed on the SE layer 15 by a vapor phase deposition method. When the thickness of the negative electrode layer 14 is Tn and the thickness of the SE layer 15 is Ts, the relation of 0.01<Tn/Ts<0.5 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
