PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image communication equipment and an image communication method for printing out an image received via a network, with high user convenience. SOLUTION: The image communication equipment 100 includes: an image receiving means 60 for receiving an image via a network 140; a priority determining means 62 for determining a priority for the received image; an image storage means 68 for storing the image in association with the determined priority; a printing-out means 66 for printing out images stored in the image storage means 68 in an order corresponding to priorities related to the images in response to the occurrence of an event that becomes timing to start printing-out; and an output direction determining means 66 for determining a direction of printing-out by the printing-out means to a direction that is different for each of a series of prints-out in response to the event occurrence.
