PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus, as well as, its manufacturing method, in which sealing is performed properly, even within a display region. SOLUTION: A light-emitting layer 37, an electron injection layer 38, and a low-resistance layer 39 are formed, in a region where an inside sealing part 24 is formed. These layers are removed by laser ablation and sealing is performed with the inside sealing part 24. Furthermore, a protective film 40 is formed on a partitioning wall 35; the protective film 40 does not only properly joint the sealing part, but also protects a layer formed on the upper surface of the partitioning wall 35, as well as, under the partitioning wall 35 in the laser ablation process.
