PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which without increasing the number of parts and assembly operation man-hour, rattling between one and other housings is suppressed by a simple structure, and conduction failure of a terminal metal fitting can be prevented. SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes a male housing 2 and a female housing 3. The male housing 2 includes a cylindrical hood part 5. An inclined face 15 is installed at the inner peripheral face 14a of the base end part 13 of the hood part 5. The female housing 3 includes a cylindrical cylinder part 6, the main body part 7 housed in the cylinder part 6, and a spring part 8 to couple these cylinder parts 6 and the main body part 7. An abutting face 29 abutting on the inclined face 15 of the hood part is installed at the outer peripheral face 27 of one end part 25 of the cylinder part 6. The spring part 8 is installed between the cylinder part 6 and the main body part 7, and when the male and the female housings 2, 3 are mutually fitted, biases the main body part 7 toward the hood part 5 so as to press the abutting face 29 to the inclined face 15.
