PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus which reduces the number of components and assembling man-hours and facilitates reuse of components. SOLUTION: The optical pickup apparatus is provided with an optical base 31, a flexible printed board 32, a heat sink 33, and a resin pickup cover 34. On the upper surface of the optical base, protrusions 35 and 36 are formed. In the flexible printed board, the heat sink, and the resin pickup cover, holes respectively corresponding to the protrusions are formed. The flexible printed board, the heat sink, and the resin pickup cover are mounted onto the optical base such that the protrusions are inserted to the corresponding holes. The resin pickup cover presses the heat sink, which presses the flexible printed board, which is pressed and held by the optical base. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
