A printing press (1, 21) comprises dry offset printing unit(s) (2, 22); an active dryer (14); a mechanism for feeding a first web (11) of a print material in a first production mode of the printing press; a mechanism for feeding a second web of a second material, different from the first material in a second production mode of the printing press; and an inking unit (7) of the printing unit and containing ink which is usable in both of the two production modes of the printing press. Independent claims are included for: (1) a printing press system comprising two printing presses, and a mechanism for feeding a first web, in a first, mixed production mode, to the first printing press and through the dryer; and (2) a method of operating a printing press.
