A synthesizer (119) includes: a synthesizer unit (101) which generates a local oscillation signal (SL1) based on a reference oscillation signal (SREF1) outputted from a reference oscillator (102) having an MEMS transducer (114); a frequency fluctuation detector (108) which detects a frequency fluctuation of the local oscillation signal; and a frequency adjustment unit (107) which adjusts the frequency of the local oscillation signal in accordance with the frequency fluctuation detected by the frequency fluctuation detector. The synthesizer can output a signal having a stable frequency even when using an MEMS transducer having a large oscillation frequency change for the temperature.
