PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scattering adhesive sheet provided on a support body with a light scattering adhesive layer using a light scattering adhesive composition having reduced reflection of light on an interface to an optical member, having excellent adhesiveness and cohesive force, having excellent long period durability, and having enhanced brightness, and a backlight system with the adhesive sheet bonded onto an attached body for emitting the light, capable of emitting efficiently the light, and capable of serving as a technique contributing to energy saving and a long life. SOLUTION: This light scattering adhesive composition contains a transparent particle in a (meth)acrylic adhesive composition containing 10-150 pts.wt. of tackifier having an aromatic ring, and 0.03-2 pts.wt. of crosslinker, per 100 pts.wt. of (meth)acrylic polymer copolymerized with 0.1-10 wt.% of hydroxyl group containing monomer, and has 20-90% of haze value.
