PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative sheet which has a recessed part patterned with a sharp trachea pattern or the like hardly giving feeling of coating in spite of providing a transparent coating film layer on its surface and which has excellent aptitude for processing such as lapping processing and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: After a hot melt laminated body 10, which is made by attaching a layer of an unhardened hot melt resin 5 on one surface of a releasing sheet 6, is laid on a surface of a woody veneer 1, heating and pressing by a hot pressing roll is carried out to impregnate the woody veneer 1 with the hot melt resin 5. Then an embossing roll makes the patterned recessed part 3 on the woody veneer 1 without delay, the patterned recessed part 3 is fixed by hardening the hot melt resin 5 in a state of holding a sharp form and further the transparent coating film layer 4, which is thinner than depth of the patterned recessed part 3, is provided on the surface of the woody veneer 1. Thus the decorative sheet, in which the patterned recessed part 3 is manifested while hardly giving the feeling of coating, can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
