PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system for managing and controlling an audio-relating device. SOLUTION: The audio system 100 includes: the audio-relating device which includes a hierarchical audio node structure showing audio-relating functionality, wherein the hierarchical audio node structure includes: the audio-relating device including components representing variable parameters in the audio-relating device; and a performance device manager which is configured to communicate with the audio-relating device and to provide a user interface for monitoring and controlling the variable parameters in the audio-relating device on the basis of the hierarchical audio node structure.
