摘要 <p>The inventive protecting coating can be used for sea vessels which have a steel hull and operate on the warm seas and oceans. The coating is in the form of a detachable magnetic film with a thickness ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 mm. The film is produced by welding or gluing together layer-by-layer. The film comprises the following series of components placed one above the other: a magnetic layer, a dielectric layer, a current-conducting layer and an outer wear-resistant layer. The magnetic layer is made of magnetic vinyl, the dielectric layer is made of polyethylene, the current-conducting layer is made of copper or aluminium and the wear-resistant layer is made of rubber. The current-conducting layer of the multi-layer film is provided with electrical leads for connecting to an external on-board power supply. The invention makes it possible to retain the protective coating on the ship hull and rapidly remove it after biofouling using the Ampere's effect, where the force generated between two closely spaced parallel conductors attracts or repels them subject to current direction in the conductors.</p>
