The present invention provides humidity-resistant and/or environmental factor resistant (such as oxidation resistant) pharmaceutical compositions, comprising: a core comprising an active ingredient or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; a cationic polymer containing coating over the core; and an additional coating over the cationic polymer containing coating, the additional coating comprising an acidifying agent or other agent capable of facilitating the dissolution of the cationic polymer coating; methods of preparing same; and therapeutic methods utilizing same.
