<p>A method for recycling waste EPS(expanded polystyrene) is provided to recycle waste EPS containing high content of salt using a desalting agent at a little cost. A method for recycling waste EPS(expanded polystyrene) comprises the following steps of: preparing a solvent containing dimethyl glutarate, dimethyl adipate and dimethyl succinate in a mixing ration of 6:3:1 by volume; smashing waste EPS; heating and fusing the smashed waste EPS at the temperature of 30-70°C in order to separate into PS and air; chilling the separated PS down to -10 ~ 10°C and gelating it; putting the gelated PS into water and washing away the remaining solvent from the PS; compressing the washed PS; extruding the compressed PS; cutting the extruded PS; and drying the PS.</p>
