<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply expand and reduce a desired image. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 1 has an input shape detection means 2, a center point determination means 3, a ratio calculation means 4, and an enlargement-ratio change means 5. The input shape detection means 2 detects the locus shape of a line drawn on the screen of a monitor 6. The center point determination means 3 determines the center point of a figure constituted by a loop line when the locus shape of the line is constituted by the loop line and radial line extended from the loop line. The ratio calculation means 4 determines the ratio of the distance from the center point of the figure to the loop line and the distance from the center point of the figure to the terminal point of the radial line.
