<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server apparatus preventing a receiving buffer on a decoder side from overflowing. <P>SOLUTION: A time stamp of a first TTS is set in a counter 15 as an initial value. A gate processing section 12 compares a time stamp included in a TTS packet with a counter value of the counter 15 to control the transfer of the TTS packet. An IP packet constitution section 13 constitutes an IP packet from a plurality of TTS packets transferred by the gate processing section 12 to output it to a peak rate control section 14. The peak rate control section 14 controls the transmission of IP packets in such a manner that a gap value between the IP packets constituted by the IP packet constitution section 13 becomes a predetermined gap value or higher. Therefore, capacity of the receiving buffer on a decoder side can be held below an allowable value, thereby preventing the receiving buffer from overflowing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
