摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleability, when pushing an electric vehicle after getting off the electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: As an operating position of an ignition key, the following circuits are provided, that is, an ignition-ON determining circuit 32; an ignition-OFF determining circuit 33, and a steering-wheel lock determination circuit 34, respectively, for discriminating three positions of ON/OFF/steering-wheel lock; and a stator coil short circuit 35 for making a coil 9 of a motor M into a short-circuited state by the ON/OFF position determination; at the ON-position, normal motor drive control is executed; at the OFF-position, it is set such that the relative distance between a rotor and a stator is made maximum so as to minimize iron loss, thereby it is possible to reduce the resistance in a motor, when pushing an electric vehicle by human power, thereby improving handleability; and at the steering-wheel lock position, it is set such that the relative distance between the rotor and the stator is made minimum so as to maximize iron loss and cogging torque. Thus, it is possible to suppress start of movement in parking on a slope, or the like, and it is also possible to prevent the electric vehicle from being stolen due to electromagnetic brake effects of a motor, by making an armature coil go into a short-circuited state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
