PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical linear motor which can perform the attachment and detachment of parts at replacement of parts accompanying its long-term use. SOLUTION: It includes a cylinder 20, which covers the internal predetermined region 22 of a center yoke 6 provided in the moving member 2 of a cylindrical linear motor 1, exchangeably and a cut 23 is formed in an annular section 6c on the center yoke side. Since the internal predetermined region 22 of the center yoke 6 is covered with the cylinder 20, the abrasion of the center yoke 6 is suppressed even if the cylindrical linear motor 1 is used for a long period. Therefore, it can cope with the parts replacement in long-term use without exchanging the center yoke 6. Moreover, in the case of taking out the used cylinder 20 at replacement of the cylinder 20, the cylinder 20 can be taken out easily by adding force to the right end 20a of the cylinder 20 through the cut 23, consequently the workability in replacement can be improved by that amount.
