PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently detecting a BPSK-modulated predetermined signal, when the BPSK-modulated predetermined signal is transmitted as an OFDM signal, in a detecting circuit. SOLUTION: A detection circuit which receives the BPSK-modulated predetermined signal as the OFDM signal and detects the predetermined signal, comprises a correlation calculating section for calculating a correlation between a first partial signal in a reception signal and an inverted signal obtained by temporally inverting a second portion of the reception signal corresponding to the first portion, and a detection section for detecting the predetermined signal, on the basis of the correlation calculated by the correlation calculating section.
