<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the number of purchase so that costs are restrained, namely the number of purchases can be minimized, when collectively purchasing a plurality of pieces of software (licenses) in an organization. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined to perform calculation based on the number of uses for each prescribed period stored in a storage in advance. Especially, information on a desired number of purchases (application number) is received from each department in the organization, and the number of purchases is determined according to a conversion rule from "total value of the application number" that is their total value. Also, the terminal of each user is connected to a management server, software is distributed from the management server (or is acquired by accessing the management server) when the software is utilized in each terminal, a license use state is monitored, and information processing for additional purchase is performed by utilizing the management server when the number of uses reaches a set threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
