PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical composite module having a small optical loss, and to provide an optical transmitter/receiver using this module. SOLUTION: The optical composite module includes: a first coreless fiber section comprising a first optical element for reflecting/transmitting light, a first coreless fiber opposing one optical incident face of the element, and a second coreless fiber opposing the other optical incident face; a second coreless fiber section comprising a second optical element having a third and a fourth optical incident/exit face and transmitting light, a third coreless fiber arranged opposite to the third optical incident face, and a fourth coreless fiber opposing the fourth optical incident face; a first refractive index distribution fiber opposing the other end face of the first coreless fiber; a second refractive index distribution fiber opposing the other end face of the second coreless fiber and opposing the other end face of the third coreless fiber; and a third refractive index distribution difference fiber opposing the other end face of the fourth coreless fiber.
