PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a substance to be detected in a short time, while suppressing nonspecific reactions. SOLUTION: In a method for immunologically measuring the substance to be detected, by use of a film carrier with a first antibody or a first antigen fixed thereto, which is specifically combined with the substance to be detected, an insoluble carrier with a second antibody or a second antigen fixed thereto, which is specifically combined with the substance to be detected; and a test specimen for immunochromatography, having cell-separatable porous separation matrices, the porous separation matrices are previously infiltrated by a surfactant and the insoluble carrier which specifically combined with the substance to be detected via the second antibody or the second antigen is developed by a developing solvent containing mannitol.
