PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage system or the like of a capillary array object for removing moisture adhering to the proximity of the chip of a capillary without backflow in a hollow section and without exposing the capillary to the outside air, when the water filled into a hollow section of the capillary constituting a capillary array object is discharged. SOLUTION: This drainage system 10 of the capillary array object is a device for discharging water from the capillary array object 1 constituted by bundling a plurality of capillaries 2. The drainage system 10 includes sealed vessel 12 connected to a decompression device, a support device 14 for supporting the capillary array object in the sealed vessel in a state where the chips of the capillaries point downward, a water absorbing member 20 having a dimension contactable with the chip of each capillary of the capillary array object arranged downside by the support device, and a moving mechanism 18 for relatively moving the capillary array object supported by the support device and the water absorbing member and bringing the chips of the capillaries supported downward into the water absorbing member.
