PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detector for reducing a radiation noise due to an excitation signal input to an angular speed detection sensor. SOLUTION: The rotation angle detector includes: a resolver 20 for outputting a detection signal induced in detection coils 24, 26 by a magnetic force from an excitation coil 22 excited by the excitation signal and changed in response to a rotation angle of a motor 30 as a drive source of a vehicle; a motor control microcomputer 91 for calculating an amplitude of the excitation signal in response to a current flowing in the motor 30; and an AC power supply 60 for generating the excitation signal having the amplitude calculated by the motor control microcomputer 91.
