PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable crossing baby carrier for an infant, the body of which is light, and which reduces a load on the body of a wearer by distributing pressure imposed on the wearer to his/her back and both side body parts since it has a cross type shape, secures comfort and safety for the infant, and is easily mounted/dismounted and carried by folding. SOLUTION: The cross type foldable baby carrier includes: ring shape fabrics 2 (right) and 3 (left) configured to form cross parts on the belly part and the back part of the wearer and twisted parts 4 (right) and 5 (left) in both side body parts; a back abutment part 12 with fasteners 16 and snap buttons 15 sewn thereto; and a snap button recess 18 for holding the folded shape which is sewn onto a part close to the belly side cross part 6. When the foldable crossing baby carrier is folded, the folded state is kept by connecting a snap button projection 13 to the snap button recess 18 for holding the folded shape.
