A window structure support member and a window structure construction method for extension of balcony using the same are provided, which enable to support a window structure expanded part more safely and solidly by preventing drooping by weight load of window structure. A window structure construction method for extension of balcony comprises: a step of mounting window structure for expansion of a balcony to the top of lower concrete retaining wall(3); a step of fixing L-shaped bracket(4) to the inside portion of the lower part concrete retaining wall using a stud anchor(5); a step of charging the inner side and bottom of the fixed bracket with insulating material; a step of installing a plurality of lower support members to the outer side of the insulating material at the constant interval in the longitudinal direction of window structure for the extension of balcony; and a step of processing the outer side of the lower support member using finishing material. |
