<p>An edge-fixing tape (10) for use in fixing the edge (20A) of a protection sheet (20) for the protection of coating film to an adherend (30) having a coating film (32). The tape (10) comprises a sheet-like support (12) and a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (16) lying on one side of the support (12). A bond strength enhancer (14) capable of enhancing the bond strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (16) with the lapse of time is placed between the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (16) and the support (12). The bond strength enhancer (14) is an acid-modified polyolefin resin which does not exhibit any dominant endothermic peak corresponding to softening point in the DSC measurement and/or a chlorinated polyolefin resin which has a glass transition temperature lower than 10°C.</p>
