This invention relates to a device for a building element that is constructed so as to make it possible to join together a number of such elements in the vertical and/or horizontal directions in a joined structure, such as a wall (a building), a bridge, or a pier/jetty, and in which if placed under a load or pressure from any direction whatsoever, the said building elements are nonetheless self-locking, i.e. they cannot be pressed, dragged, or lifted out of any of the above-mentioned structural examples. I also mention here (and wonder about) the fact that the building elements in another variant (?) of the invention - a variant (?) that may be a bit easier to produce industrially - together with some corner structure that locks in 4 directions, i.e. 'inwards-outwards,' 'upwards-downwards - with at least 3 joined corners, means that the parts of such a joined structure will cooperate in such a way that they will be self-locking in all directions - both horizontally and vertically.
