A pallet transfer checking apparatus of an engine assembly line is provided to prevent the hang of the pallet due to the reverse moving of the pallet when repairing an engine assembly line. A pallet transfer checking apparatus(100) of an engine assembly line is composed of a mounting bracket(10), a detecting dog(30), a detecting sensor(50), and a bearing member(70). The mounting bracket is installed in a conveyer(C). The detecting dog is mounted in the mounting bracket to be eccentrically rotatable. The detecting sensor is mounted in the mounting bracket according to the detecting dog. The detecting sensor senses the detecting dog, and outputs the sensing signal to a controller. The bearing member is installed in the detecting dog. The detecting dog is rotatably mounted on the mounting bracket with a pin. The bearing member is rotatably mounted on the detecting dog with a shaft.
