A method for detecting malfunction of an induction motor by a circuit analysis of an induction motor wire is provided to calculate the number of rotations of the induction motor using an interpolation method of a window function used for analyzing a frequency. A power harmonic and a non-power harmonic are extracted(S10). An even current harmonic is calculated(S20). An odd current harmonic is calculated(S30). A positive sequence current harmonic is calculated(S40). A negative sequence current harmonic is calculated(S50). A zero sequence current harmonic is calculated(S60). In a positive and negative sequence current harmonic calculating process, the number of rotations of the induction motor is calculated by the interpolation method of a window function used for analyzing a frequency.
