The invention relates to a junction box enabling a fully-automatic mounting on all commercial solar-modules. Said box can also be automatically fitted. According to said method, the box is positioned in a simple manner on the rear side of the solar module and is electrically connected thereto. Said junction box comprises a housing (5) in which bypass diodes (12) and necessary electric connections are introduced, and a positioning block (1) in which receiving grooves (2), in their shape, are adapted to the flat conductors (3) of the solar-module (4). The electric connections comprise connection ends (7) that are electrically connected to the flat conductors (3). A hold-down device (10), mounted on the housing (5) or the cover thereof, presses the flat conductors (3) and the end connections (7) into the grooves (2) when mounting the box. The electric connection between the flat conductors (3) and the connection ends (7) is established either by means of contact clamps (8) or by soldering and/or welding. The invention relates to two variants of the junction box that are mounted according to different methods. |
