<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer of a solid polymer fuel cell in which the occurrence of cracks is suppressed, transfer performance is excellent, and yield at manufacture is superior. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst layer for solid polymer fuel cell (1) contains a catalyst carrying carbon particle, a hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte, and a carbon nano-fiber, (2) the carbon nano-fiber has an aspect ratio 60-95, an average fiber diameter 100-500 nm, and an average fiber length 2-20 μm, and (3) the content of the carbon nano-fiber is 10 wt.% or less in the catalyst layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
