<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall material usable as a window or a door while having light forming property, wherein the wall material avoids containing mercury and other gas which may be harmful for human health. <P>SOLUTION: The wall material having light forming property is provided with a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate while the two tabular transparent substrates are arranged facing to each other so as to define a hollow room. On at least a surface area of the second transparent substrate, at least one first layer row containing a first electrically conductive layer, a light-emitting layer and a second electrically conductive layer in the corresponding sequence is deposited.
