PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproducing unit for automatically displaying content information showing the content of relevant content related to a certain content with subtitles on a display.

SOLUTION: The content reproducing unit 1 has: a search keyword data generation section 4 for extracting a prescribed keyword from subtitles; a content information acquisition section 6 for acquiring the content information showing the content of the relevant content related to the content having subtitles, based on at least the extracted keyword; and a content information display section 7 for displaying the obtained content information on the display 8.
