PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device allowing the smooth exchange of an upper blade and a lower blade and maintaining a clearance set between the upper blade and the lower blade always. SOLUTION: This cutting device has a cutting device body 1 provided with an upper holder A1 holding the upper blade H1 and a lower holder A2 holding the lower blade H2 to cut a long plate-like workpiece W in a predetermined length based on the cooperation of the upper blade H1 and the lower blade H2. The upper holder A1 and the lower holder A2 are constituted as integral units Y1-Y3. The cutting device is provided with a plurality of the units Y1-Y3 including the upper holder A1 and the lower holder A2 holding the upper blade H1 and the lower blade H2 having blade face shapes different from each other, respectively. This cutting device is also provided with an exchanging means 2 capable of exchanging these units by removing the unit attached to the cutting device body 1 and attaching the optional unit to it among the plurality of units Y1-Y3.
