SOLUTION: The imaging device has a photoelectric conversion unit, an imaging region where a plurality of pixels each including a photoelectric conversion unit and a semiconductor region disposed below an element isolation region so as to isolate the photoelectric conversion unit from other regions are arrayed in two dimensions, an offset amount of at least part of the semiconductor region relative to a normal passing the center of a photodetection surface of the photoelectric conversion unit of the pixel being determined so as to be larger and larger as the distance from the center of an imaging region to the pixel is longer and longer.
