PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of suppressing backlashing in an empty weight direction during tray ejection and easily being manufactured. SOLUTION: A pressed projection part 156 projected upward is disposed in the insertion direction side end of a tray 150 constituting a disk device 100, and a weight 130 for pressing only the pressed projection part 156 down is disposed in the ejection direction side end of a chassis 110. Thus, even if pressing of the insertion direction side end of the tray 150 down only when the tray 150 is ejected causes pressing of the ejection direction side end in the empty weight direction only by the empty weight of the tray 150 or the weight of a decorative sheet 160, the equilibrium state of the tray 150 is maintained, and backlashing in the empty weight direction during ejection is prevented. As compared with a configuration where the tray 150 is always pressed, the destruction or abrasion of the chassis 110 and the tray 150 is suppressed.
