PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder press forming die where powders free from fluidity and tackiness each other are pressed so as to obtain a formed body in which density is uniform over the entire face, and the thickness in the upper and lower directions is almost uniform, and a projecting part and a recessed part are present. SOLUTION: In the powder press forming die 1, when the upper die 2 and the lower die 4 are opened, and wood powders W as powders are packed, the frame die 3 elevates to the lower die 4 so as to form a frame to be packed with the powders W. Further, in the projecting part of the molded body 10, a vertically moving block 5 lowers to the frame die 3, and in the recessed part of the molded body 10, vertically moving blocks 6, 7 elevate to the upper die 2, and the upper face of the lower die 4 surrounded by the frame die 3 is made almost flat. Thereby, only by charging the powders W into the frame die 3 and making the upper face flat, the powders W can be easily packed even to the surfaces at the positions corresponding to the projecting part and the recessed part at a thickness almost equal to that of the other parts without spoiling mass-productivity.
