PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method of a pressure regulating valve which can incorporate a pressure receiving diaphragm simply and precisely in relation to position, and a positioning fixture to be used for this method. SOLUTION: This assembling method comprises the following processes: (1) a seal ring fitting process to fit the seal ring into an annular groove 52 of a ring-like end surface; (2) a temporary pressure receiving diaphragm setting process to temporarily set the pressure receiving diaphragm by fitting a cut hole 64 into a screw hole 54 of the ring-like end surface 51; (3) a temporary snap-in ring setting process to temporarily set the snap-in ring 71 by fitting a dummy hole 72 to the screw hole 54 of the ring-like end surface 51; (4) a temporary screw tightening process to temporarily tighten a mounting screw, passing through the dummy hole 72 and the cut hole 64; (5) a fixture setting process to set a positioning fixture 131 in the snap-in ring 71; (6) a full-dress pressure receiving diaphragm setting process to register the position of the pressure receiving diaphragm to a mark of the positioning fixture 131; and (7) a finally screw tightening process to finally tighten the mounting screw 73 as specified.
