<p>Provided is an optical disc recording device (10) including: a tracking servo (13) which performs tracking on a spiral track of convex/concave marks; an analog signal processor (14) which extracts a reproduction signal corresponding to the convex/concave marks; a digital signal processor (15) which extracts a channel clock synchronized with the channel bit length of the convex/concave marks; and a sub-information recording unit (30) which records sub-information by applying a laser beam according to the tracking to the spiral track. The sub-information recording unit (30) applies a discrete laser beam at a predetermined interval and with a predetermined frequency synchronized with the channel clock by one tracking thereby forming a write mark on a reflection film to record a part of sub-information. This process is repeated a plurality of times so as to record all the sub-information. With this configuration, it is possible to stably perform tracking on the convex/concave marks and stably record the sub-information.</p>
