<p>A brake apparatus and a brake control method of a vehicle are provided to supply the necessary hydraulic pressure to a wheel cylinder by controlling the reduction of the intake negative pressure of an engine. A brake control method of a vehicle is composed of steps of doubling the brake operating force of a vehicle by using the intake negative pressure of an engine, generating the first hydraulic pressure according to the doubled brake operating force, generating the second hydraulic pressure by operating a pump, detecting the required braking force, and supplying the first hydraulic pressure to a wheel cylinder if the required braking force is less than the critical value and supplying the second hydraulic pressure to the wheel cylinder if the required braking force is more than the critical value. The critical value is set up according to the generation state of the intake negative pressure of the engine.</p> |
