HESPERETIN COMPOSITION EXHIBITING EXCELLENT BIOABSORBABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hesperetin composition that exhibits improved bioabsorbability of hesperetin and is suitable for oral ingestion.

SOLUTION: The hesperetin composition exhibits excellent bioabsorbability of hesperetin as it comprises enzyme-treated hesperidin and hesperetin. The enzyme-treated hesperidin is preferably a mixture of α-glucosylhesperidin with either or both of hesperidin and 7-glucosylhesperetin. The hesperetin composition preferably contains hesperetin in an amount of 1-15 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the enzyme-treated hesperidin.
