摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control and manage a plurality of power storage devices, respectively, by using a plurality of control units (ECUs) based on common specifications without performing separate productions. <P>SOLUTION: Each battery EU, based on the common specifications is constituted so that one of a function for controlling and managing a battery unit 5-1 and a function for controlling and managing a battery unit 5-2 is selectively executable. Different voltages are inputted into an identifying connector 115-1 of the battery ECU, assembled into the battery unit 5-1 and an identifying connector 115-2 of the battery ECU assembled into the battery unit 5-2 via wirings 112-1, 112-2. When power supply is turned on, each ECU indentifies whether it is either a battery ECU 1(100-1) having the battery unit 5-1 as a control object, or a battery ECU 2 (100-2) having the battery unit 5-2 as the control object, based on the input voltages to the indentifying connectors 115-1, 115-2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
