<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a catalytic effect of a catalytic metal-support by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: A method for depositing a catalytic metal comprises a step of irradiating a catalytic metal (2)-support (1) particle with an electron beam to deposit the catalytic metal (2) on the surface from the catalytic metal (2)-support (1) particle. The catalytic metal (2)-support (1) particle comprises a support (1), which has an oxygen octahedral structure shown by the chemical formula: ABO<SB>3</SB>(wherein A is the catalytic metal (2) containing lead, strontium, bismuth or barium at the least; B contains titanium, zirconium, niobium, nickel or magnesium at the least), and the catalytic metal (2) deposited on the surface of the support (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
